Zenith Transoceanic model 3000-1
This is a very nice clean radio. The Transoceanic 3000-1 model series was one of Zeniths first FM Radios. This radio also has AM and several Shortwave Bands. I have owned this radio for a long time. Before listing it I tested it on both AM and FM, I did not test the Shortwave Bands. ( Please Note! I put a red dot on one of the Transistors in the AM circuit, see picture ) I had to move this transistor a little bit in its socket to get the AM to play. I sprayed the socket with a little De-Oxit spray, it now plays fine. I’m not sure the problem is actually fixed. I did not pull the chassis to check the socket. I want the purchaser to be aware and hopefully be saved a lot of time if the AM quits working again.
Please also Note! This is a very old radio and was probably built in the 1960’s. Due to this radios age, there is no way I can guarantee how it will perform or work when received by purchaser.
