    Description

    Zenith 1956 tube radio in great condition the cabinet is great condition no cracks a few minor scuffs. The radio picks up stations strong up and down the dial. The on/off light does not work. Sometimes the dial pointer will stick can me adjusted by hand The following was done to give the radio a new life All tubes where tested weak and bad tubes replaced. Old wax capacitors replaced with a new modern equivalent. Resistors checked and out of tolerance resistors replaced. Wiring inspected replaced bad wires or re coated. Clean chassis. Cleaned volume control with contact cleaner. Lubed knobs and tuning capacitors bearings. Installed new modern polarized power cord. Measurements 13" long 6 1/2" wide 8" tall.
