Vintage Realistic Patrolman-9 Band Radio Model 12-759 .  Serial # 25108
One of Radio Shack's Nicest portable radio's ever made. Becoming more rare especially with good antennas, meters, battery box cover, etc.
Good looking. Versatile covering 9 bands. I'll bet the beaches were full of these back in the day.
This radio is in good condition. Very clean unit. Some small scratches (tuning knob as seen in picture) but you have to look hard for them. The cabinet and face are in good condition. No major blemishes that stick out. Gave it a basic cleaning. Inspected it and tested it for all functions. Everything works except the light button on the front. I guess the light are stuck on. 9 Bands covering AM/FM/Shortwave 1 & 2/VHF/UHF/MB/TV/WX/AIR . - All bands that still are operational come in great.

BFO - Allows receiver to clarify SSB ham radio transmissions
Squelch - Effective for quiet monitoring of VHF/UHF communications
Tone Control. Bass/Treble
Main and Fine tuning control knob. Assists in separation of signals on crowded shortwave bands or ham radio bands.
External antenna jack
Dual antennas. Both original,straight, and in excellent condition.
Dual panel lights.
uses C cell batteries. coils are a little rusty but still work.
Would look and play well on the shelf, in the shack, on the deck, beach, picnic, on a desk, anywhere.
