Vintage countertop mannequin/glamorous belle Lamp In Pink Formal.
This Item is so rare, no other found in 5 years of searching. Truly one of a kind. Glamorous, vintage composite belle in a faded pink flared tulle formal. She has that 1930’s-40’s look with her sculpted molded hair and rhinestone earrings.
She and her twin sister, were found in the estate of a nearly 100 year old antique dealer! This antique enthusiast also had a bridal dress business in her carriage house.! The Belles/lamps possibly could have been available as dealer accessory items when you carried a certain line of Bridal dresses.
They are technically half dolls, made into lamps. The bottom is a heavy circular metal coil covered by the fabric of the skirt. Making the belle appear to be wearing a hoop skirt. The shade is done in a matching style. Definitely have patina, although I’ve carefully cleaned their dresses and shades, I think they’re loveliness and ethereal look still remains. The lamp mechanisms work well , use with a low wattage bulb for that soft, dreamy look. They are approximately 22 inches tall. There are two, both are available, BUT PRICE IS FOR ONE.
