VINTAGE circa 1958 Olympic 6 Transistor Radio w/ accessories MODEL 780.

Operation: This radio is being sold as NON-WORKING, meaning that the buyer should not expect the electronics of the radio to function at all. The radio did NOT play an AM station when tested, static and crackling only. Requires a 9-volt battery.
Outer Condition: Excellent shape – there are NO cracks or chips. Some scuff marks from wear and tear. Back of radio snaps to the front of the case. The radio is clean inside and out. Please look at the pictures.
Front of Radio: Excellent condition. Grill - no dents, no tarnish. Lettering - intact. No cracks on front plate. The volume and tuner dials rolls easily. Volume dial rolls to a distinctive click to signal on and off. Tuner dial rolls but does not change the number in the station window.
Inside of Radio: There is no corrosion on the battery terminals. All original components as far as I know. The earphone jack has not been tested. The wires connecting the speaker are visible and present, but not attached to the speaker.
The leather case is in excellent condition. All seams are tight with no tears or stains in the leather. All snaps work without issue as if new.
This radio is being offered as is, as described and as shown in the pictures. This radio is being sold from my family collection. It comes from a smoke free, pet free, and mold free home. Please message me if you have any questions.
