    Description

    The Hallicrafters Model S-38 AM - Shortwave Radio.  I purchased this at an estate sale. I don't know anything about these kind of radios, but when I plug it in it lights up and makes humming and static noises. I could hear someone talking, but I couldn't make out what was being said.  I don't have an antenna but that might help.  Please see all photos. One of the knobs on the front is damaged.  There is no cover for the back. Thanks for looking.
