About the Roust-A-Bout
The Sumner Roust-A-Bout enables one man to lift and place loads in tight locations that would be impossible with other lifts. The flexible Roust-A-Bout not only makes the job possible . . . it can pay for itself in days by reducing job time!
This dependable lift can raise a 1,500 lb. (680 kg) load to heights up to 15 feet in minutes. In addition, large 8" (200 mm) casters permit a fully loaded Roust-A-Bout to position pipe or beams with ease.  Wider loads up to 1,000 lbs (455 kg) can be handled with the addition of Sumner's Tee Head Extension Bar (not included).
The Roust-A-Bout eliminates the need for many other tools such as come alongs, scaffolds, monorails, and swing booms.

Domestic shipping rates
are for delivery within the 48 contiguous states. Please e-mail us or call us for shipping rates to Alaska, Hawaii, or any US territories.
We ship domestic packages
(less than 100 lbs) via FedEx ground (3 - 5 business days), or USPS Priority Mail (2 - 3 business days). Larger oversized packages are shipped via an LTL freight carrier
Freight Shipments:
Items too large to ship FedEx ground will ship Common Carrier Freight. For residential common carrier freight shipments, you must be able to accommodate a freight truck at your address, or the shipment must be picked up at the local truck terminal. A daytime telephone number must be supplied so that the freight company can contact your prior to delivery.
Freight shipments must be thoroughly inspected prior to accepting delivery. We are not responsible for any damages or shortages once a freight shipment has been signed for.
Any damages or missing items must be noted to the freight driver at the time of delivery
International packages
(less than 100 lbs) are shipped FedEx International Ground or USPS International Priority

Items may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date

Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted. Returned items must be new and include original packaging. Buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was shipped in error. Library ladders and hazardous material items are non-returnable. Spiral and straight stair kits are subject to restocking fees up to 25%.
