SONY Double Conversion 13 BAND CRF-160 transistor Short wave radio receiver

For auction one Sony FM AM short wave radio receiver. CRF-160
Last weekend I went to the estate sale of a radio service manager that worked for a major electronics company. This radio was in his collection. It was kept in his office with some other radios so the cosmetic condition is very good. See the large amount of pictures I took so you can judge for yourself.
I used the AC cord and tested the radio. The AM and FM work super maybe the best sound I have ever heard from a transistor radio. Lots of power and stations. I got some static on the SW-1 channel but I could not get any stations on the Long Wave or Short wave setting for SW-2 SW-10. I have no idea why I can not get shortwave stations, but due to the age of this radio it is sold as is- as found, with no returns. The dial lights work, and the on/off beacon works. The battery box is clean, and the antenna is not broken.
