Replacement Potentiometers for Sony ICF Pro70/80, Air-7/8

Good news is finally we are in position to offer brand new, factory fresh potentiometers that help you bring these well loved radios back to life, yet without costing you an arm and a leg. Guaranteed to work or your money back!
This kit contains two potentiometers: one for Volume Control and one for Squelch Control (See Pic 1 for packing detail). Both pots are customerised at the factory to match the originals in resistance, curve format as well as length of the knurled shafts. Please note that radios and other accessories that appear in the listing photos are for illustration only: they are NOT included in the deal.
Please note these new replacement pots do not have the built in push-and-pull switches as found on the originals. This means:
For Air-7 and Air-8, you need to choose “Auto” or “Manual” for Squelch control and add a jumper wire accordingly. Personally I’d recommend “Manual” mode so you are always in control.
For Pro70 and Pro80, do the same for Squelch control; then choose “Low” or “High” and add one more jumper in same manner for volume control. That’s it! Personally I use the “Low” setting for arguably better sound. Of course you can choose to wire it for “High”, if higher output is desired.
Pic 3 is a wiring example for Pro 80: the red jumper wire is in the “Low” position for volume control and the black one in the “Manual” position for squelch control.
Pic 4 is a wiring example for Air-8: the naked jumper wire is in the positioned of manual control.
