Neato Space-Age 1968 Panasonic RE-7367 Twin-Speaker Radio, Looks & Works Great!

This was another great local estate sale find from many years ago, and boy, was I thrilled to have it! It a Panasonic model RE-7367 twin-speaker, all-transistor radio from 1968, and it is about a fine example of late-1960’s futuristic design as I can think of. Wouldn’t it look perfectly at home on the set of “2001: A Space Oddity”? That shiny chrome-like face, those wood-grained plastic sides and top, the space capsule knobs – the whole thing just screams “new frontier!” I snatched it right up and was delighted, when I got it home, to find that it worked perfectly; I have listened to it almost every day ever since, and it never fails me.
As impressive as it looks – it measures an impressive 15.5”w x 8”h x 4.75”d – it sounds great, too, and it quite sensitive, picking up faraway stations clearly. Now, I’m running out of space, so it’s time to pass it along to another collector who will use and enjoy it for years as I have. If you’ve always wanted one of these but feared that you’d never find such a fine, all-original working example, this is your lucky day; it will be a long time before you find another.
