Description

This is a preowned Hach DR/4000 UV-VIS spectrophotometer.  It has has been tested (see pictures for some test results).    Internally, it was completely cleaned and the optics were also cleaned.  The LCD screen protector was also replaced.  Comes with owners manual, power cord, single cell  module, a quartz cuvette, and 90 day WARRANTY!  This item originally cost over ,000.  Buy used and save!  Fully tested with calibrated filters!  Also tested the UV based nitrate assay with Hach calibration solution.
The last photo shows other optional upgrades that can be added to this purchase (round cuvette holder, Multi-cell modules, micro cuvette (50-100uL) and micro cuvette holder).  Also have the large square and cylindrical single cuvette holders (not shown).  Please message Scicycler if you would like to add any of these items to your purchase.

Hach DR 4000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is accurate, easy to use, and affordable! By design, the Hach DR/4000 is ideally suited for both routine testing and demanding analysis in water treatment, industrial processes, surface finishing, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical production, and chemical synthesis.     The DR/4000’s innovative sample modules slide in and to accommodate manual testing modules, multi-position carousels, pour-thru cells, a sipper system module, and a temperature control module. Plus, more than 130 preprogrammed use PA accepted Hach methods are permanently stored in instrument memory, and you may add up   to 100 calibrations of your own.
Warranty Terms:   If the item does not perform according to Manufacturer's specifications, Scicycler will either refund, repair, or replace the item, at seller's discretion.  Buyer is responsible for returning item in original condition and return shipping costs.  In order for warranty to be honored out to 90 days, the buyer must message the seller within 48 hours of receiving the item and verify that the equipment arrived in working order.  (This is to prevent damages that may have occurred during shipping to be shifted to the seller a later time.)  Under some circumstances, Scicycler may request the buyer to send equipment diagnostic data to Scicycler to verify the equipment arrived in good condition.  In the rare event that an item does not function according to the manufacturer's specifications, the buyer is expected to conduct some equipment troubleshooting over the phone with Scicycler prior to return of equipment.  The UV and Visible lamps are not covered by this warranty.
