    Description

    From 1968 here's a JCPenney multi band radio. Its in excellent condition for its age. It was tested and all bands are operational, inclusive of hearing my local Portland Intl Airport (PDX) air ops, the weather band, etc.  Antenna works and is not bent or sticky. Battery compartment is very clean, didn't have 4 C batteries so it was only tested via the electrical cord (AC). The meter covers both tuning strength and battery power, it worked for the tuning and like previously stated didn't have batteries so it was not tested in that mode. All controls do operate. For a 50+ year old radio it looks great and works very well.
