Here's an early Atwater Kent mounted Variocoupler manufactured in Philadelphia PA ca. 1922. The Variocoupler is one of AK's earliest tuners, and the condition of this example is very nice throughout, with glossy, undamaged bakelite and tightly wound original coils. Backing plate has no fractures or hairlines or other damage. Engraving on the backing plate is original, and legible. No missing brass fittings, no stains on the coils. A great radio collectible that's become hard to find in the past few years.
I'm listing many loose AK parts this week. Make sure to check them all out.
That's about it. I
will package the part carefully and properly, and I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which it leaves mine. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly. Overseas customers may remit payment with Paypal only. Auction participants with no ebay feedback history should contact me before placing a bid. Thanks.
