Here's an Atwater Kent 2-stage amplifier island manufactured in Philadelphia PA ca.1922. This is a "green can" TA suitable for Model 3 and Model 4 breadboard radios with similarly painted metalwork. The island was also sold loose to be used in the construction of homemade radios.
Condition of the island is very good, and the original green paint is in good shape overall. Brown bakelite top is undamaged, and the potting tar inside the island is undisturbed. Both AF transformers are original, and both test good. Please review the pictures and consider them an integral part of the description.
Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 6 lb.
I'm listing many loose AK parts this week. Make sure to check them all out.
That's about it. I will package the island properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.
