Here's an Atwater Kent 1 amp tube detector island manufactured in Philadelphia PA ca.1922. This early black knob island was removed from a 3955 breadboard radio, and it does not have a bottom plate.
The island is in good condition overall, with normal tarnish to the brass, but no damage to the bakelite shell or mounting flange. Please review the pictures and consider them an integral part of the description.
Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 3 lb.
I'm listing many loose AK parts this week; make sure to check them all out.
That's about it. I will package the detector properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.
