1 SONY CRF-5100 Earth-Orbiter AM-FM Short wave marine transistor radio receiver

For auction one Sony FM AM short wave radio receiver. CRF-5100
Last weekend I went to the estate sale of a radio service manager that worked for a major electronics company. This radio was in his collection. It was kept in his office with some other radios so the cosmetic condition is very good. See the large amount of pictures I took so you can judge for yourself.
I used the AC cord and tested the radio. The AM And SW-4, SW-3, SW-1, Marine Tropical, and medium wave seem to work. Lots of power. I got some static on the SW bands but not many stations. It was during the day and I do not have an outside antenna. Maybe that is part of the problem. I did not get any stations on the FM band. I think the band selector switch needs some cleaner lube as it makes a scratching static sound when you change bands. There is a small dent in the upper cover. I took a close up picture of this area so you can see the dent.
Due to the age of this radio it is sold as is- as found, with no returns. The dial lights work, and the station selector beacon works See pictures. The battery box is clean, and the antenna is not broken.
