For auction one vintage General Electric Model 3-5280A Am FM radio cassette recorder player
Last weekend I went to the estate sale of a radio service manager that worked for a major electronics company. This radio was in his collection. It was kept in his office with some other radios so the cosmetic condition is very good. See the large amount of pictures I took so you can judge for yourself.
I used the AC cord and tested the radio, but it also works great with batterys. The battery box looks like new. I found an old cassette and this radio played the cassette, and it sounded great. The Am works great but when tuning in-between stations you can hear scratches through the speakers. I think the variable condenser need lube or cleaning. The Am and FM work great, both AM and FM have lots of power.
The red tuning meters that are also signal strength meters light up great. The antenna is in perfect condition. THIS RADIO IS A REAL VINTAGE TIME CAPSUL it looks new.
Due to the age of this radio and the others I am selling on eBay today, it is sold as is- as found, with no returns.
